Armando Duarte Galan

Juris Doctor with a minor in Management from Universidad de los Andes and graduate degrees in financial and energy legislation form Externado University and Andes University. Armando Has also attended most of the offerings by the Harvard Negotiation Institute and was accepted to the Advanced Negotiation Master Class offered by the Program on Negotiation (a university Consortium between Harvard, MIT and TUFTS). He has an ALM in Management with two graduate certificates in Strategic Management and Non-Profit Management, from the Harvard Extension School at Harvard University.

With over 8 years of experience amongst multinational financial institutions, Law Firms specializing in capital markets law, and academic consulting in the fields of soft skills, communication as well as organizational behavior. In 2016, after serving as negotiating expert for FOX-Telecolombia television productions in Argentina, Colombia and Mexico as well as conducting a radio program for the Latino community in the US for Actualidad Media Group, he has worked in Public Relations through social media strategy with firms like Fluvip, Dattis, BBDO and other prominent PR firms. Currently, he provides consulting services to organizations like Colliers, BBDO, L’oreal and pharmaceutical laboratories. Finally, he is the Executive Director of the Pharus Institute a Non-Profit Digital Media Company focused on education for development and human flourishing.

In the academic field, he has acted as program coordinator, entrepreneurship juror, strategy mentor and professor of soft skills at a graduate level in some of the most prominent Business Schools in Latin America.
