Abhik Chowdhury

I have 5 years of experience in developing different kinds of niche content, with exposure to SEO, marketing communication, technical writing, as well as ELT content development for school education publishing. For the last three years I am working as a freelance content resource in different projects of Oxford University Press India. My last major project was reviewing and shortlisting the entries of the Oxford Big Read, a reading competition for the primary and secondary school students in India, as a jury member. Apart from that, my job description includes developing worksheets, lesson plans, newsletters, etc. for the National Product Marketing Team (School Education) of Oxford University Press India. Before beginning my journey with OUP, I used to work as a copywriter with Page 29 Communications, an advertising agency, in Kolkata. There I planned several 360° marketing campaigns and played a chief role in their successful execution. In my academics, I have completed M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from University of Calcutta.
