Former agency copywriter looking for freelance opportunities.
I am a journalist and content strategist currently based in Bombay, India. My work has appeared in several publications including the BBC, CNN, Bon Appétit, The Globe and Mail, HuffPost, The Independent, National Geographic Traveller India, South China Morning Post, and The Sydney Morning Herald. I write about travel, culture, literature, art, science, and have a fascination with all things old and odd. I've interviewed food critics, rice readers (long story), and traveled solo through pockets of the Americas, Australia, Europe, and SE Asia.
I am also a former copywriter at R K SWAMY BBDO, a renowned Indian agency, and a part of BBDO, the most awarded global agency network. While there, I worked on digital campaigns and strategy ideation for brands such as Isuzu Motors India and Pampers.
I currently write content for Abbott India.
As an editor, I have edited academic papers, doctoral theses, and book-length fiction and memoir manuscripts. Having lived and worked in both Canada and Australia, I am comfortable working with American English, and British and Commonwealth English.
