Alyssa Wise

Hello, my name is Alyssa Wise.

I think it is safe to say that we all have a passion for something. For me, that passion is writing, but not just any kind of writing. I tell stories. As far back as I can remember, I’ve loved telling stories. I enjoy it so much that writing them has become an obsession of mine. A compulsion even. There is no feeling like letting your creativity flow from you and into your work. After a long day of writing, my husband tells me that I am glowing. I feel like I am glowing too, it’s an amazing feeling.

I live in a small house only a couple of feet from a river, surrounded by Oregon forest. I could not ask for a better place to let my creativity run wild. If you have never been to Oregon, I suggest a visit. I am also lucky enough to live fifteen minutes from the ocean.

When I’m not writing, I work with my husband. We own and operate a small business offering general services. It is quite an interesting job and it requires a lot of hard work, but in the end it is absolutely worth it. We are always pushing to be a better version of ourselves everyday.
