Amber Arshad

Content Strategist, Copy Editor, Copywriter, Ghostwriter

I write high quality content on Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Business, Health and Wellness, Fashion and Beauty, and Parenting/Pregnancy.

I believe creating content for today's audience is both a science and an art – you want your content to have substance and flow like prose, but you also want it to cut through the cacophony of drivel freely available online and gain the approval of 'King' Google. In short, make it SEO-optimized and audience-friendly. This is the kind of content writing I believe in and practice enthusiastically.

I am a software engineer with an MS in Mass Communications and Media Studies. I have more than 11 years of editorial experience working with the top media company of my country.

A few of my experience and competencies' highlights are:

• Written comprehensive articles, profiles and reports on various topics that range from branding, product launches, social media, business, beauty/fashion, and management.
• Interviewed the heads of various FMCGs, media organizations, banks and advertising agencies.
• Conducted in-depth research and liaised with the PR and communications departments for content generation.
• Managed Aurora Magazine’s website and print issue; commission blogs, liaise with designers and oversee the production process.
• Spearheaded the entire editorial operations of Spider Magazine, DAWN Media Group – Commissioned, edited, proofread and finalized articles before they were sent for printing.
• A published writer of Spider Magazine, Aurora Magazine and DAWN.com.
• Founding editor of Greenwich Times – launched and designed Greenwich University’s first newspaper.
