I’ve always been successful at communicating my thoughts through writing. After landing a spot on the short lineup of bloggers for a parenting blog site powered by the Omaha World-Herald, it was clear that my audience thought so too. Since that time, I’ve learned it’s not enough to be just a talented wordsmith. It’s perhaps even more important to be a good listener – a thoughtful listener – to understand the motivations behind an organization and to turn their “why” into a compelling story. From search engine optimized copy to corporate rebranding, I have spent more than a decade crafting technical blogs, web copy, sales and marketing collateral, media pitches and even daily customer correspondence for clients in a wide range of industries. When I'm not helping others create their stories, I'm working on my own with my husband, three sons, and our dog, Hughey.
