As my tagline suggests, I have been formally diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. While many people hide their mental health like a dirty secret, I embrace every moment of every day. I fully believe that having OCD is one of my greatest strengths in all areas of my life.
I obsess over information and I make a fantastic researcher because I refuse to stop until I have all of the information needed. My attention to detail demands that I do the very best that I am able to, or I am not finished the task at hand. I stay focused and driven until the end without hesitation.
I do my best work when I am faced with a passionate topic, which has greatly varied over the years. Generally, any humanitarian or social issue will drive a passion within. I have experience with issues surrounding women's rights, grant proposals, at-risk youth, the prison population, HIV, addiction issues, and other topics involving the more vulnerable of populations.
