Antonio Belmonte

Hello! I'm Antonio, a Caracas based writer originally from Cumaná, Venezuela. Writing, especially creative writing, has been important to me since I read "The little prince", "The adventures of Tom Sawyer" and "Alice in Wonderland" at the age of 8. Overtime, I have refined my approach and writing skills to a point I feel satisfied with.

When I was in highschool I obtained second place in the "First latin american narrative writing school contest", and then I became the winner of "Let's finish the tale: 2005 Juvenile Edition", in honor of the tetracentenary of "Don Quijote de La Mancha".

Afterwards, I studied Electrical Engineering, because of peer pressure. That didn't extinguish my passion though. I just shifted focus to a more technical style of writing; in my university years, at least. I occasionally kept writing magical worlds and interesting characters. When I was done with university, I just retook my call and haven't stopped since.

My specialities are creative writing, research writing, copywriting, and translation.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, watching movies, playing pokemon, and working on this video game project I have. Sometimes I code, most of the time I work on the level design, the script and the characters.
