Excellent writer seeking to break into the freelance business
I graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Political Science. Out of college, I worked for the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs in the Human Resources Department. I left in late 2004 to return to my hometown. I then worked three years of utterly forgettable jobs until I landed a job at the Mondovi Public Library as the Director. There, I wrote a weekly article for the local newspaper, prepared annual budget presentations, wrote reports to be delivered to the library board, and wrote some simply grant applications. I received many compliments on my writing, and it has always been a dream of mine to take advantage of my skills in this area.
