In January 2014, I began freelance work for businesses looking for social media services. I help small businesses gain back their time and implement strategic planning behind their social media presence. My work allows entrepreneurs and small business owners to have a professional, polished, and consistent presence on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter!
I have an Associate of Arts Degree in Business obtained at the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from the same institution.
I have had the privilege to work for the City of Rapid City’s Community Development Division, the Rapid City Convention and Visitors Bureau, Boomerang Mangement Enterprises, and Verizon Wireless. I have taught social media classes at Community Education for the Black Hills, participated in Pecha Kucha (PKN), presented on social media for the Rapid City Chamber of Commerce and CVB staff, HelpLine Center, Custer Hospitality, and the Grand Gateway Hotel, and have been working with social media in a professional manner since 2012. The platforms I have experience with include Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, YouTube, Vine, SnapChat, TripAdvisor, and Yelp!.
I am a founding and active member of 1 Million Cups – Rapid City and am on the lookout to join any other fabulous networking groups or organizations within Rapid City, the Black Hills, and South Dakota.
