Billy Jensen earned his first cover story in the spring of 1997. During this time, he decided to pursue a career in professional roller hockey. In 1998, he moved on from roller hockey and began a position as a listings assistant. He would move on to listings editor while reporting for the New York Times during his weekends. Since then, his career as a crime story writer and investigative journalist has skyrocketed and he is renowned for solving crimes.
