I am a teacher of English as a foreign language, a husband and father of two based in Erfoud, Morocco. I have always dreamt of becoming a writer and had all my inspirations from the small and beautiful village of Merzouga where I grew up, but because English is not my native language I had to wait for years before I started my first projects. I have published some poetry collections, and story-poems. At the moment, I am finalizing my first novel The Unexpected Journey of Shepherd . My main goal in writing in addition to writing beautiful stories, is to make readers all over the world encounter a new culture from the perspective of a local writer, I want to restore some of the dying traditions while keeping up with the current trends of writing.
