After a successful advertising agency copywriting career that included Creative Director roles at Chicago-based Foote, Cone & Belding and Campbell Mithun Esty, I began my own freelance company in 1995 for two reasons. One, Campbell Mithun Esty was sold, and subsequently closed, by Saatchi. And two, I was quite frankly happier writing copy than I was being a manager. I'm proud of my reputation as one of Chicago’s top freelance advertising copywriters, based not only on my talents but also how I earn and maintain my clients’ trust.

My specialties are direct response, financial, insurance, investments, healthcare, membership organizations and fundraising. Currently, I also train around the country on "How To Write Killer Copy", "Business Writing", "Email Writing" and "Social Media Marketing" through Fred Pryor Seminars. And I work part-time as On-Set Pledge Supervisor for WTTW, Chicago's PBS station, training volunteers who come to the station to answer phones on-air during pledge drives.
