Hard-working and self-motivated writer with a passion for language
I am a native English speaker with a First Class Honours degree in English Literature. I have a deep passion for writing. I love the satisfaction of choosing precisely the right word and the feeling of achievement after producing work others will read.
Over the course of nine years working within advertising agencies, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of how language works to engage and compel the reader. My role as a producer means I am expert at time-management and at remaining detail-oriented whilst working to tight deadlines. I've worked on large advertising campaigns for brands such as Walls, Unilever, P&G and Coca Cola, and I know the importance of creating perfect copy.
I am now transitioning into freelance writing, and have been working to build up a portfolio on my website. There I write short articles on a variety of topics, including parenting, literature, creativity and travel.
