Hey there, I’m Caitlin, but my friends call me Caity or Cait. Most days you can find me in my favorite sun dress, playing with flowers to make them into a beautiful design at my local floral shop. People often refer to me as Taylor Swift’s biggest fan, the most determined person they’ve met, and a wildly impulsive mess. I have this desire to constantly go, do, and fix, but yet I'm a recovering cynic. I want to fix people and every single insecurity they ever faced. I wanted to fight right alongside them and be joyful when they were joyful and mourn when they mourned. But instead I found myself believing in the people who can’t quite figure out how to find themselves in this chaotic, demanding world. I wrangle words down into neat documents, sometimes filled with good words and wisdom and other times with truths buried so deep in emotions that you can't really find them. Anytime in between, you can catch me enjoying the Louisiana sun with my husband and two kids (when the humidity isn’t too overbearing), soaking up conversation with my powerhouse girlfriends, and devouring any book I can get my hands on. At the end of the day, I’m really just a simple girl. I cherish conversation over good food, specifically carbs. I relish carefully crafted words in a coffee shop. Oh, and I really like tacos too.
