Attorney; Intellectual property and technology policy scholar with a focus on cybersecurity and privacy.
I am a lawyer, a research academic, a policy wonk, and a lifelong tech hobbyist. Novel legal questions fascinate me. Some of my recent research has examined state data breach laws, data injuries, cybersecurity incident insurance, and software vulnerability markets. I am always interested in making complicated topics more accessible to professionals and the general public. A lot of my published work is coauthored because I value collaboration and new perspectives. My three core values are accuracy, reason, and compassion, and I approach each project with an open mind.
