I create SEO-friendly (yet engaging, activating and solution-oriented) online content for small business clients and boutique brands. I've been involved in online marketing and copywriting ever since Google came on the scene and made the internet user-friendly for all of us! Although I now focus almost exclusively on copywriting and ghostwriting, I honed my skills in creative corporate positions that always included plenty of writing.

Corporate Background in Online Marketing, Copywriting and Editing

I worked for Warner Bros. Records for nearly a decade, focused on alternative marketing. As part of this effort, we published a monthly magazine (really a cleverly disguised sales guide) with insider info about our artists. -- I spent 4 years at Citysearch as it transitioned out of its start-up phase, where I led a team of web designers, helped design new product offerings, and created a new department focused on creative QA. The new team helped ensure that our small biz websites (designed extremely quickly in a production-oriented environment) fit the unique, custom brand image desired by the client. -- In the non-profit world, I served as communication consultant for a national women's health organization, writing web copy, doctor-reviewed medical brochures and related projects.

TL;dr -- I write web copy and blog posts using current SEO best practices, for industries that include Health, Medical, Interior Design, Building, Remodeling and more. I learn something new every day!
