CeliaSue Hecht is a published writer, editor, blogger and doggie mama who loves cats, too. Originally from NYC, now living in Monterey, CA, she has a substantial background in print media as a newspaper reporter, editor and newsletter editor. Her writing has been published in newspapers, magazines, and online in Vox media, O, E, Parents magazine, Reno Gazette Journal, Las Vegas Review Journal, Atlanta Journal Constitution and many other local and national newspapers and magazines. She has worked as a reporter, editor, typesetter and photographer at numerous newspapers including The Desert Trail, Sunshine Publications, Pompano Ledger, Jewish Journal and Stars & Stripes. She has been editor of numerous newsletters including Head Start, EarthSave, Women Writers West, Citizen Alert and worked with international CEO’s, best-selling authors, health care professionals, artists, seniors writing memoirs, small business owners and non-profits. She has served and taken on roles such as Public Relations Director, Writer and Newsletter Editor. She has co-authored five romantic travel guides, traveled worldwide, and written a dog travel blog (Have Dog blog will Travel) for 10 years. For two years (2016-18), she wrote and edited a weekly international newsletter about anti-trafficking for Liberty Asia/Freedom Collaborative. The newsletter goes out to 550+ NGO's around the world.
