She has traveled all over the world, speaks fundamental Japanese, and is an avid follower of the fiction writing field both at an industry and art level. After years of interest-driven research and reading, she is quite knowledgeable of trends, authors, publication methods, and legal changes in copyright laws over the years. She observes the field with an eye toward its evolution, and that eye eventually led to her being accepted into a rigorous creative writing program. In the Colgan Center for Fine and Performing Arts Creative Writing Program she is being trained to create, market, and curate all forms of creative and journalistic writing. Using a background in the medical and criminal justice fields, she is currently a staff writer for the Ocean Deep Magazine, where she writes journalistic articles. She is also the Features Editor of the Megalodon Magazine, where she leads the charge on promoting and creating articles through contests, open submissions, and audience interaction. The Megalodon, a literary magazine, has allowed her to explore her love of the literary world in all its forms, and both positions have taught her to produce her best work at all times while respecting deadlines. She is up for promotion to Editor in Chief of the Megalodon Magazine due to the outstanding efforts and professionalism she has shown thus far in her field. Finally, while she does enjoy creative writing and journalism, she is a generalist who enjoys researching new domains.
