I have been writing since I was eight years old. I noticed my talent in writing when I received a Reflections Award at nine years old for a Poem that I wrote titled "If I Could Give the World A Gift". Writing became an outlet of expression for me and as a creative person, I am drawn to things that encourage expression. I chose to study Sociology when I was in college because I was interested in learning about society's influence on human behavior and I enjoyed conducting research on different topics and how we view those topics based on how we are socialized. I also discovered at that time that I enjoy interviewing people, recording my findings and writing my opinions on those findings and that also sounds like blogging. I enjoy blogging because I get to provide my opinions on whatever I want to write about and I have tried creating my blog but can't seem to get people to read them. Writing has become a hobby that I enjoy and would not mind making income from doing, who doesn't want to make a living doing what they enjoy?
