Chris Rooks

Having worked in the hospitality industry for 20 years, I have had the opportunity to travel the United States, working with guests from all over the world, and experiencing locations from small business districts, to downtown high rises, to secluded island getaways.

I began my hospitality career in college as a front desk associate in the college town of Gainesville, Florida. After working for three years, I sought a management career in hotels after graduation, and moved to Orlando, Florida. Over the next decade I contributed to both sales and operations, writing proposals, contracts, and collateral, that secured new clients as well as the services of supporting businesses in the busy attractions area of Orlando.

Over the past five years however, I have had the pleasure of writing detailed narratives for owners and managers seeking to learn more about their guest's experiences. In addition, I have a keen passion for all manner of fiction and non-fiction, and am excited to help with planning, writing, and editing, or any potential project.
