I live to make editors' and creative directors' jobs--and lives--easy. I sit comfortably in the the worlds of straight-up journalism, humor, essay, ghostwriting, content marketing, pop culture and academia. I specialize in the realms of alumni relations and development, health, family and parenting, real estate, thought leadership and business, and anything Chicago-related. I'm too modest to boast but I have been told that I ask good questions, handle revisions like a pro, and am easy to work with. In my spare time I'm learning guitar, raise money for a Chicago literacy organization in the form of a humor live lit series, and try to mold my two small boys into something resembling human beings.
