Like many strategists, brand strategy wasn’t my first professional love. Originally, I was infatuated by the problems of startups and even acted on this infatuation in my formative years. Since then, I have acted as a brand and content strategist in both a freelance consultant role and in a full-time role at an advertising agency. I have served fortune major brands such as General Mills, Syngenta, Kubota, and Edward Jones as well as entrepreneurial ventures.
My background makes me unique in how I identify the singular behavior that marketing needs to change and practiced in writing a brand strategy and supporting content that will make the behavior change happen. Because marketing and content need to be aimed at creating some action, and I am an expert on understanding and nudging that action.
