With over thirty years of experience in the entertainment industry - both onstage and off - Colette Piceau has made a name for herself as a Writer and Creative Director with a knack for developing unique creative concepts that spark inspiration and imagination. She has been a creative force on a myriad of entertainment projects, including Universal's Volcano Bay, Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin at SeaWorld Orlando, Time Traveler at Silver Dollar City, Wildwood Grove at Dollywood, and Kind Heaven, an immersive entertainment experience that was scheduled to open in spring of 2020. As President of the creative firm, It Ain’t Shakespeare, she has contributed to a plethora of award-winning guest experiences for an impressive roster of clients such as the Walt Disney Company, Universal Studios, the Carnival Corporation, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and Coca-Cola.

Colette’s experience includes writing Emmy award-winning episodes of Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures and ShamuTV. In addition to her creative input on master plans for Universal Studios Dubai, Dreamworks Dubai, DestiNY USA and Worlds of Discovery Dubai, she wrote concepts and scripting for acclaimed guest experiences such as Blue Horizons at SeaWorld, Busch Gardens’ blockbuster stage show, KaTonga, and Dolphin Tales at the Georgia Aquarium. She served as creative director and wrote all of the speeches for Carnival's 2017 Keynote Address at CES and wrote all scripting for their interactive Experience Center. She also collaborated on a visitor's center for FM Global, Glacier Run at the Louisville Zoo, and the Honeywell Preview Center in Washington, D.C. Not only that, but she was instrumental in the development of Electric Ocean, a nighttime entertainment experience at SeaWorld, Spirit of Aloha at the Polynesian Resort, and Dragon's Treasure at the City of Dreams in Macau.
