Consuelo Lyonnet is a Bilingual Communications expert with over 15 years of experience in English <> Spanish <> Portuguese translation, localization, transcreation (creative adaptation), voice-over, copywriting and copyediting for advertising and marketing companies both in the East and the West coast of the US. Her clients include UPS, American Express, Fidelity, Capital One, PBS, to name a few. Born and raised in Buenos Aires Argentina, her bilingual education led her to later graduate as a Translator & Interpreter from renowned Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina. She moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2001 where she became one of the first Spanish IVR "Siri" voices through TellMe and Microsoft Speech. In 2012 she moved to the Miami / Fort Lauderdale area where she has been extensively working in digital & broadcast media, creating bicultural social media campaigns, writing editorial & advertising copy, press releases, TV & radio scripts, localizing websites, creating common core aligned educational content in Spanish, live TV & conference interpreting and providing bilingual voice over services.
