Cyndi Zaweski is a New York-based content creator and award-winning journalist with a penchant for boiling down complex concepts into easily and enjoyably consumed content. Her goal is to help people and brands find the words to speak their truths.
A 2010 graduate of Suffolk University in Boston, Cyndi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Journalism. Her career has taken her across the country, working as an on-air reporter and producer at local NBC and FOX affiliates in Louisiana and West Virginia. Her passion for the written word led her to pursue her career as a lifestyle journalist, with expertise in diverse topics, such as nutrition, fitness, real estate, home decor, wine, travel and other trends for leading regional magazines. She has garnered several New York Press Association awards for her news-you-can-use style guides, as well as long-form, research and interview-based pieces.
Cyndi is currently enrolled in Columbia University’s School of Engineering to earn a certificate in Digital Marketing. The intensive 18-week long Bootcamp is dedicated to marketing strategy, campaign development, digital advertising and site analytics/reporting. Skills learned consist of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, (CRMs) and MailChimp.
In her spare time, Cyndi is a personal growth advocate, writing about self-development and writing practices on Medium. She is always looking for new ways to improve and lead a more fulfilling life while connecting with others along the way. She is always down to try a new recipe, get into the garden and explore her neighborhood with her golden retriever, Molly.
