Dan Good

Content Strategist, Developmental Editor, Editor, Ghostwriter, Writer

A damn good ghostwriter.

Dan Good is a book ghostwriter, writer and editor who thrives under pressure, works well with others and knows how to deliver. He is adept at guiding multiple projects simultaneously and his areas of focus include true crime, biography, sports, history, politics and entertainment.

Dan previously ran the breaking news desk for the New York Daily News, overseeing more than 15 reporters and setting the newsroom's standard for online and print coverage about national topics. He was promoted amid mass layoffs, but instead of wilting under the pressure or quickly departing, he brought stability — helping to guide the newsroom forward at a critical time. Earlier, he worked at ABC News and the New York Post, as well as TV and print news outlets in New Jersey and his native Pennsylvania.

While at the Press of Atlantic City in southern New Jersey, he directed two documentaries, including one about the real-life figure behind HBO's "Boardwalk Empire," and was named the newsroom's employee of the year.

He is currently writing a biography about a prominent baseball player, for which he has interviewed more than 350 people.
