Daniel Woodward

After living in Russia for two years, where I learned the language and served as a volunteer, I returned home to the United States and earned a degree from Athens State University, double majoring in Business Management and Human Resources, with a minor in Criminal Justice. During this time, I worked as an emergency telecommunicator at my local 9-1-1 center, answering emergency phone calls and utilizing diverse software applications to get responders to the scene. In my 10+ years of experience there, I received multiple certifications and was ultimately promoted to the role of Communications Supervisor and was able put my education and experience to use in managing daily operations, over-seeing the needs of personnel, and working collectively with other emergency response agencies to achieve common goals.
My evolution as a professional writer began as the founder of a fan blog for The Smashing Pumpkins. Eventually, I realized I could do much more with my writing ability than give commentary on my favorite rock band, and my freelance writing career was born! Utilizing my educational, life and work experience, I can produce effective material that will yield results. Writing has always been an innate skill and passion of mine, and I am absolutely thrilled to bring it to your service.
