Copy Editor, Copywriter, Developmental Editor, Editor, Ghostwriter, Writer, Managing Editor

If I could be anything, I'd be a storyteller.

I'm a writer and editor with 14 years in marketing and publishing; mom of two boys and one dog; volunteer with a nonprofit rescue group; health and fitness enthusiast; lover of avocados and letters. A small-town girl by birth, my curious spirit led me to explore life in South Beach, NYC, and Memphis before I settled in my home state of West Virginia. Along the way, I worked in the fashion industry and TV/film production while building my experience as a writer and editor.

I've written for FedEx, Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics, and McGraw-Hill Education, as well as regional and small businesses across many industries. Web content creation and blogging are the foundation of my work. My portfolio also includes style guides, e-newsletters, mission statements, social media advertising, and more. I have extensive experience with online CMS (e.g., Basecamp, GatherContent); Chicago, AP, and APA style books; and PDF editing. My work as a journalist has appeared in Memphis Magazine (cover story), The Memphis Flyer, and 100 Days in Appalachia, among other outlets.
