Dean Dauphinais

Recovery advocate, writer, blogger, social media guru

Dean Dauphinais is a writer, blogger, and recovery advocate who works tirelessly to break the stigma associated with addiction. In 2013, he walked away from a 24-year career in publishing to pursue his passion: helping families and individuals affected by substance abuse. In addition to his personal blog, Dean writes for such sites as The Huffington Post, TheFix.com, Recovery.org, and To Write Love on Her Arms. He has also worked as a lead advocate for Heroes in Recovery and as a parent coach for the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids. A lover of music, cooking, and cats, he lives in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, with his wife, Kathy.
