Deb Kingsbury

Copy Editor, Editor, Managing Editor, Writer

If you write it, I'll be more than happy to work with you to nip, tuck and spruce it up for all the world to read.

With the mountains and canyons of northern Arizona as my home since 2003, I'm a former paralegal and farm caretaker who now makes a living as a freelance writer, editor and social media manager. My writing credits include two published novels, award-winning creative non-fiction, more than 250 articles and numerous ghostwriting projects on a wide range of topics. Areas of special knowledge and interest include topics related to outdoor recreation; domestic and international travel and adventure; wilderness rescue and related survival skills; personal finance and money-saving strategies; creative writing how-to (e.g. show don't tell ... too much); DIY, gardening and sustainable building subjects, and more. I proofread and edit everything from blog posts and product descriptions to web copy and full book manuscripts. If you write it, I'll be more than happy to work with you to nip, tuck and spruce it up for all the world to read.
