I was born and raised in Bassfield, MS and I still maintain connections there. At the age of 18 I joined the United States Coast Guard. The responsibilities entrusted to me is extensive. I functioned as a Federal law enforcement agent. I planned, and executed complex search and rescue missions for those in peril upon the sea. I managed a department that was made up of 30 young adults. I handled any and all personnel issues spanning from professional development, functioning as a mentor, address any personal issues that had an effect on work production, issues related to pay, and scheduling time off. I served for nearly six years when I was injuried in the line of duty, and suffered a permanent physical disability that was service connected. Once my military career came to an end, I began attending college. I finished and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. After graduation, I began to work on earning a Master's Degree in Political Science. I have nearly completed that degree, as I only have two more courses to complete. Currently, I have been writing articles for publication, writing profiles of foreign countries that will be published as an annual publication. I have experience and worked on social issues on matters of equality. Most recently, I have formed a nonprofit organization, and I continue to construct measures related to the nonprofit.
