With nearly 25 years of experience in writing, editing, content strategy, ghostwriting, and journalism, Doug focuses on graduate management education like MBA programs along with personal finance, technology and travel writing. His work includes over 80 long-form articles for the online publications BSchools and Busted Cubicle as well as articles in legacy print magazines like MacUser.

For the past twenty years he was a partner in a San Francisco marketing/brand design firm managing editorial services. He wrote print collateral copy and online content for the world’s biggest brands, including United Airlines, AT&T, Union Bank, Ziff Davis, and Sebastiani.

For three of those years he wrote and edited the corporate newsletter for First Security Loan, the largest independent mortgage broker in Northern California before the Great Recession in 2009. He wrote and edited over 50 personal finance articles for their newsletter on a broad range of topics.

Doug has also written on technology. His software reviews appeared in MacUser and articles on the internet and mobile apps and devices appeared in Profiles Magazine. He additionally wrote case studies and marketing collateral for the software vendor Serus, who was acquired by E2open.

In addition, Doug wrote the SEO content and client education materials for the luxury European travel site

Doug graduated in the top one percent of his class with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and studied computer science at Stanford University.
