I’m a freelance writer and editor based in Houston, Texas, covering health/wellness, fitness, food/nutrition, lifestyle, beauty, careers, education, entertainment, travel, Latin culture and more. I received my degree in print journalism with dual minors in Spanish and women’s studies in 2009 from Hofstra University in Long Island, New York. I am a former copy editor and staff writer of the Houston Chronicle. My work has also appeared in Runner’s World, Women’s Health, Self and Pop Sugar, among other publications. I am also a marathoner, avid baker, country music lover and frequent traveler.
