Emily Wenstrom

A geek's heart with a writer's brain

I’m a freelance writer who specializes in content that connects, whether it’s for publications or a client’s content strategy.

With eight years of professional marketing experience in journalism, marketing and public relations, I have a broad perspective on where content fits into your strategy and how it supports your business goals. I’ve worked with companies ranging from small startups to international franchises, including work for PriceWaterHouseCoopers, Sprint and TD Ameritrade.

I offer writing and strategic consulting services to clients. I also write articles for websites and publications with a focus on topics related to marketing and PR, geek culture, the writing craft. My bylines can be seen in Bulldog Reporter, Brazen Careerist, Panels and more.

I am also a regular contributor to DIY MFA, where I offer online platforming advice for authors, and The Write Practice, where I write about the writing craft itself. I write fiction as E. J. Wenstrom.

Want to build a real, lasting connection with your target audience? Let’s get started.
