Before I delved into the world of professional writing, I spent four years working in the health sector, and then for a charity organisation that provided counseling and advocacy services to people of the borough.
During these years I have been able to see first hand how difficult it is for some charities to get their names out their and their message heard. With such a saturation of charities it can be tough to stand out, so when it came time to choose my writing niche, it seemed obvious that I should write copy that would allow me to take my experience and use what I know to help others.
My writing spans across many industries, and I consider myself extremely versatile, but my on the job experience writing bids, social media content, monthly newsletters, web content and professional emails in order to generate greater awareness of the charity, has led me to specializing in working with other charities to do the same.
