Firoozeh Kashani-Sabet

Literary historian, Dr. Firoozeh Kashani-Sabet is a scholar, innovator, speaker, and novelist. Her versatility in the writing space has received accolades, and in 2010 she published her first novel, Martyrdom Street. Dr. Kashani-Sabet is the Walter H. Annenberg Professor of History for the University of Pennsylvania School of Arts & Sciences Department of History where her focus is modern Middle East studies with a focus on Iran and the bordering lands including the Persian Gulf and Ottoman Empire.
