I am presently Senior Writer at NeoMam Studios, a UK-based international marketing agency producing mouthwatering/mind-blowing creative content including including original children's books. I take on interesting freelance work when available. Topics include film/video, kid stuff, design, and further education. And dogs. I love to write about dogs.
I also have twenty years experience as a filmmaker and film festival addict. I've worked as a festival programmer and prize jury member and delivered filmmaking workshops and resources. I gained my filmmaking MFA at Béla Tarr's film.factory, studying with the world's greatest living film directors, actors, and critics (inc. Gus Van Sant, Juliette Binoche, Jonathan Rosenbaum), and developing close friendships with the next generation of baffling art-house auteurs. I write a weekly filmmaking newsletter that is read by hundreds of filmmakers, festival programmers, and other industry professionals.
