Rory trained Animation under four-time Oscar-winning Director Nick Park. He progressed to work on such projects as, “Chicken Run”, the BAFTA-award-winning “Robbie & the Reindeers”, Tim Burton’s “Corpse Bride” & Oscar-winning characters Wallace & Grommit. He also worked on a wide range of commercials & television series for companies including the BBC, Hit TV, Cosgrove Hall films, Granada & Warner Brothers.
Rory wrote & directed five award-winning animated shorts, The Chameleon, Guy’s Dog, Ape, The Butterfly Collector & God’s Early Work.
Rory moved from Animation to live-action in 2005. He wrote and directed award-winning short films The Martyr’s Crown, The Man Inside and Stir. He has also worked on wide range of music videos, corporate promos & commercials for clients including Nissan, Yahoo, Kelloggs, Berocca, Champion Sports, Johnson Mooney & O’Brien, Cuicas Brava, Uniflu, and a National Lottery campaign.
