Hartwell Davis

Professor Davis is a graduate of Liberty University with a Masters in Management and Leadership (MAML) and a post-graduate Education Specialists (Ed.S.) degree in Teaching and Curriculum. He also has a Masters in Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary. Other graduate studies includes Ph.D. studies in Organizational Leadership and Human Resource Management at Regent’s University, and graduate studies in English and Counseling at several universities including Liberty University, Columbia International University, and Grand Canyon University. Mr. Davis’s undergraduate work is in accounting and religious education. He has taught for several years at the college level in business, psychology, English, and computers. Mr. Davis has for over 10 years been a professor of English Writing & Rhetoric at a major university in Florida, and adjunct in Psychology, Business, Human Resource Management, and Computer Applications at several colleges and universities in Central Florida.

Mr. Davis has a broad vocational background as a juvenile probation officer, caseworker, family therapist, drug and alcohol counselor, accountant, sales manager, purchasing manager, disc jockey, educator, pastor, church planter, and author. His primary interest is in juvenile justice, correction, adult education, and conflict resolution, human resource and business management, and relationship management.

Mr. Davis is an author and has published one book and several papers in the Education Research Information Center, as well as other journals. He has been a published poet in England and the U.S. His varied career has included several years in accounting, including working for CPA firms; a purchasing manager for major companies such as General Electric and Brown & Root; a business manager of several non-profit agencies; disc jockey, and prior to moving to Florida, Mr. Davis for several years was a North American Account Manager covering all of North America for a major semi-conductor and electronics manufacturer. He currently is on the board of directors of the Marialla Magloire Foundation which is a non-profit organization dedicated to agricultural education and health education in Haiti, South Africa, and the United States.
