If you can think it, I can write it

When I write, I don't think about whether that elliptical clause is symmetrical with the conjunctive adverb. The words "adjective," "adverb," and "antecedent" aren't even part of my vocabulary, and it's been that way ever since I learned to form cohesive sentences in grade school. I don't really think about how my writing works, I just know when it's good.

And this "feeling" I have worked well enough that my college writing teacher embarrassed me in front of my class with every other assignment I turned in telling everyone how great the writing was. I ended up acing pretty much every assignment.

Long story short, I can write.
