As a PhD graduate, I have written many academic articles, but I my current focus is writing for non-academic audiences. My computer science background makes me well suited to write on technology and algorithms, while my anthropological background would allow me to discuss how technology is interacting with our society.
Although I gained a lot of experience writing, I gained the most experience working as an Editor. This position gave me the experience to understand how important collaboration and professionalism is to generating the best possible content. Feedback and different perspectives enrich writing and require writers to check their egos at the door.
