Oxford law graduate, screen writer, creative writing coach
I read law at Oxford University, graduating with a 1st and the Gibbs Book prize. As a copy writer I've written for numerous companies across a range of fields -- travel guides for Reader's Digest, promotional copy for everything from kitchen scales to waste management. Creating interesting, engaging copy has always sat perfectly alongside my other writing and creative work (I'm a script writer and director). It is the perfect intersection of my legal training and my creative writing -- where the skills in research, analysis and technical writing coalesce with the more ephemeral blue-sky writing of film scripts, theatre and story-telling. I've recently moved to the US from London (I have a Green Card) and am looking to continue my work writing attention-grabbing, intelligent and genuine copy for your clients.
