Writer - Editor - Photographer - Creator

Hi! I'm Jacqueline. I'm a freelance writer, editor, and photographer. That's a lot of words, so sometimes I go with "creator" or "cultivator." Essentially, I take things and make them better. Words into stories, photos into art, websites into emotions. What's more, I'm a breakfast-loving smoky mezzo with an affinity for rocks, but more on that later.

I always have my fingers in lots of pots. Can't help it. The day job has me creating branded content at Matador Network for DMOs (like Visit Norway or Visit Seattle) and brands (like REI or Chaco), coordinating teams of writers, editing and laying out articles, and writing content myself. Beyond the 9-to-5, I'm usually freelance writing or blogging, snapping photos, or starting up another website for no good reason. I dabble in web design, too, and like to help others out with any of the above whenever possible. When I'm truly off the clock, I'm probably watching some documentary on plate tectonics for the 11th time — I was a historical geologist in my past life.

I'm constantly looking for new projects to tackle and would love to be a part of your next endeavor. I know a little bit of everything (HTML, CSS, Wordpress, Squarespace, Lightroom, etc.), so there's probably somewhere I can help out. Bonus if your project is a part of the travelsphere!
