I am a freelance writer, editor, proofreader, transcriber, translator, researcher, business manager-consultant, and lawyer with more than 10 years of work experience.
Being a business manager-consultant and corporate secretary, I was involved in general supervision, government compliance, human resource management and training, and overall operations of the broiler contract growing, hog raising, construction, and real estate businesses of the company; performed bookkeeping, administrative and legal functions; formed corporate entities for different businesses; and did corporate housekeeping such as calling stockholder and directors’ meetings, transcribing board room minutes and drafting board resolutions and other corporate paperwork.
As a legal practitioner, I have written, edited, and proofread numerous motions and pleadings, legal opinions, affidavits, witness testimonies, forms, and contracts; did legal research; examined witnesses on trial; conducted due diligence for investment and real estate transactions, and; performed corporate secretary functions such as transcribing minutes of board meetings, and drafting board resolutions and other corporate paperwork of a bank. I also worked as a legal staff/representative of a senator investigating electoral fraud and doing legal-administrative work.
I have a knack and passion for writing, proofreading, and editing legal and non-legal documents, and was a former Features Writer and Associate Editor of a school paper for 2 years. I am interested in articles involving self-improvement/psychology, travel, nature, animals, money, business, and finance, but I’m open to other topics as well.
