Writing is an embedded part of my life. It has always been a passion - a form of self-expression first, now also my professional tool.
A crucial role in the development of my writing craft played my alma mater and one of the oldest universities in Europe - Charles University in Prague. To succeed I had to write dozens of essays and other academic works (both in Czech and English), which together make up thousands of pages. I thank the university for shaping my writing and critical thinking.
In the last couple of years, I have worked as a project manager in a small but prestigious consulting company in the Czech Republic. I have regularly consulted the business plans of our clients, then found appropriate financing means in the form of a European grant or subsidy. The next step was to write a project including a detailed business plan, and if evaluators approved our project, I managed it during the realization.
Also, since I was sixteen I have been an active member of the non-profit community. Always in a team of like-minded peers, I have organized plenty of cultural and educational events and festivals. I realized a long time ago, I want to contribute to our society with whatever the skills, experience or character traits I possess.
That's why I decided to freelance - it is the most effective way my activities and services can benefit others.
