I’m Jazmine Martin, but I also answer to ‘Jaz’ or ‘Jazz’ or even ‘Mina’ when there’s another Jasmine around.
Niche blogger, a Crafter, a photographer, and an avid convention crawler. I have too many hobbies and not enough time to do them all. As a freelancer, this whole traveling for fandom thing has gotten easier.
My work has appeared on Launch DFW and Nurdmedia. I also contributed to the first digital edition of FANS Pop Culture Resource for Educators, Librarians, Parents, and Fans. I even have my IMDB page where I have proof that I am sorta in the industry. Living that indie creator life.
I started the Geeky Nomad (the Blog and Vlog Channel) to share my experiences working behind the curtain of major conventions across the US. While also putting out information for how to volunteer at these cons and grow your network. Anime Expo, Project A-kon, and Dragon Con (next year!) to name a few. We’ll visit smaller cons, one-day shows, and a sprinkle of festivals too.
