Jeannie is an award-winning marketing communications leader with experience building brands and business units to generate client value. She’s worked with some of the world’s most recognized brands and companies across the spectrum in the food, nutrition, wellness, beauty, hospitality, travel, and retail verticals.
An agency veteran she is also a Registered Dietitian where she employed her food, health, nutrition, and wellness knowledge at the prestigious Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Institute of Food Technologists (IFT). She has written for QualityHealth.com, Food Technology magazine, Atlanta’s Flavor magazine, Natural Health, and the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior. She authored chapters in “Food Science, An Ecological Approach “and the “American Dietetic Association Cooking Healthy Across America” cookbook. She's been quote in local and national media including the Chicago NBC affiliate about ethnic food guide pyramids and Today’s Dietitian magazine.
Jeannie served as the 2016-2018 Food, Nutrition, and Wellness Scientific Chair for IFT’s Annual Meeting Scientific Program Advisory Panel and was appointed an International Association of Culinary Professional 2019 and 2017 cookbook judge. She is an active member of the American Society of Nutrition, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine, Sports Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition, Institute of Food Technologists, New York Academy of Sciences, and International Association of Culinary Professionals. Jeannie has certifications in Bean to Bar Chocolate, Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), and Creative Fragrance Development from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
