Jessica Spiegel

Writer & Editor | 11+ Years Experience | Curious & Detail-Oriented | Obsessive Knitter

I've been a travel writer since 2006, freelance copywriter and editor since 2012, and the bulk of my work has been copywriting for the past few years on both travel- and non-travel-related topics. I have done work directly for clients and agencies representing clients, working on a per-piece or per-hour basis depending on the client’s needs. //

I'm detail-oriented and a freakishly fast writer, once I get into the groove of a project. I excel at making logistical elements and service pieces interesting and informative. I produce clean work in a timely manner. I love the variety of topics I get to learn and write about as a freelancer - I've always thought of it as one of the perks of my job. I’m flexible and dependable, and I’m very easy to work with. //

In my non-writing life, I love Italy, Sazeracs, the Portland Timbers, pho, and cities with bad reputations.
