Joe Wuelfing is a freelance copywriter with more than 25 years of experience producing marketing communications. As both employee and consultant, he has helped numerous companies–from Fortune 100 to startup–tell their stories to the world.

Prior to launching his copywriting business, Joe served as a marketing writer and communications manager for various corporations, including Kleinfelder, PRIDE Industries, Cirrus Logic, PeopleSoft (now Oracle), and ULTRADATA. In these roles, he helped define and implement marketing strategies, manage corporate communication programs, and produce sales and marketing collateral.

Throughout his career, Joe has written and edited all types of print and online communications. His work has won both local and national recognition from notable industry groups including International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and Sacramento Public Relations Association (SPRA).

Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an English/Journalism minor from College of Notre Dame (now Notre Dame de Namur Univeristy), where he also was an Academic All-American basketball player. He is an active member of various industry and community groups, as well as co-founder/director of The Markie Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to children’s hospice.
